Reset

Nicview provides a video camera system for parents to virtually visit and view their babies admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). To access the live video feeds, parents are given unique login credentials by the hospital. If you forget your Nicview account password, you can easily reset it by following these simple steps:

Forgot Password link

The easiest way to reset your forgotten Nicview password is using the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page:

1. Go to the Nicview login portal at www.nicview.net
2. Click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link below the password field.
3. A new page will open prompting you to enter your registered email ID.
4. Type in the email you used to sign up for the account.
5. Click ‘Submit’. This will trigger a reset link to be sent to your email address.
6. Open your email inbox and look for an email from Nicview.
7. The email will contain a unique link to reset your password. Click on it.
8. You will be redirected to a page asking you to enter a new password.
9. Type a new password and click ‘Change Password’ to complete the reset.

Contact NICU Staff

If the forgot password method does not work, you can directly contact the NICU staff to reset credentials:

1. Identify the point of contact at the hospital NICU for Nicview access.
2. Provide your registered name and verification details when requested.
3. The staff can look up your account and manually reset the password.
4. They will provide you with a newly generated temporary password.
5. Use this to login and you will be prompted to change it to your password.

Update Email Address

In some cases, the reset email may fail if your email address in Nicview records is outdated or incorrect. To fix this:

1. Contact the NICU staff directly to update your email ID.
2. Provide the new active email address you want linked to your account.
3. The staff will update this in the Nicview system on their end.
4. Now when you click ‘Forgot password’, the reset link will be sent to your updated email.

Reset Frequency

Most systems allow limited password resets within a short span to prevent misuse. To avoid getting locked out, follow best practices:

• Note down your password securely after the first reset.
• Update your email if changed, so reset emails reach you.
• If you forget your password again, first use the self-service option before contacting staff.
• Do not share passwords with others which compromises security.
• Log out fully from all devices after each use.
